2. Clean thoroughly when cleaning. If dead corners are left, serious consequences such as "hot spot effect" may occur. Under normal light, the uncleaned part of the panel will change from a power generation unit to a power consumption unit, and the covered solar photovoltaic panel battery will become a load resistor that does not generate electricity, consuming the electricity generated by the connected battery, that is, generating heat, which is the hot spot effect. This process will aggravate the aging of the panel, reduce the output, and cause a fire in severe cases.
3. Use special cleaning fluid. Some users use ordinary tap water or well water to clean solar cells. Because there are many impurities in the water, they will adhere to the glass plate on the surface of the battery module, reducing the power of solar power generation. Experiments have shown that cleaning the panel with tap water can reduce photovoltaic solar power generation by more than 1.8% compared with cleaning the panel with special cleaning fluid.
